The Key Account Manager (KAM) is responsible for managing and growing assigned key clients within the government and corporate sectors. The role involves identifying business opportunities, achieving monthly sales targets, ensuring proper communication with clients, and maintaining strong relationships.
Responsibilities
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales targets assigned by the Head of Sales.
- Maintain a strong individual client portfolio and expand business in both government and corporate sectors.
- Maintain strong and long-term relationships with assigned key accounts.
- Provide accurate BOQ, specifications, and technical requirements during sales order preparation.
- Submit daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports to the Head of Sales.
- Present account status, revenue forecast, and collection plan during management meetings.
- Ensure timely payment collection as per company policy.
Must Have
- Bachelorโs/Masterโs in Business, Engineering, Marketing, or related field (engineering preferred)
- 4 -10 years of experience in technology, project, or solution-based sales
- Must have experience in handling government or corporate clients
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets
- Knowledge of ICT products and solution-based sales
Nice to have
- Experience in system integration company is an advantage
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Excellent negotiation and closing ability
- Ability to manage multiple clients simultaneously
- Understanding of government and corporate procurement processes
